Partnerships are key to the New Frontiers School Board (NFSB) Community Learning Centres (CLC) success, this year there were 130 active partnerships supporting our schools, centres and communities. Thank you to all our partners and wonderful partnerships, we are looking forward to the 2017-2018 school year for more school-community partnerships.

Check out the CLC network achievements for the 2016-2017 school year. The Community Learning Concepts (CLC) is an approach across Quebec, which succeeds from successful partnerships that provide a range of services and activities, during and after the school day, to help meet the needs of our learners, their families and the wider community.
Community Learning Centres (CLC Schools) have a dual role in Quebec: supporting student perseverance and contributing to the vitality of English-speaking communities. In CLC Schools, a dedicated community development agent (CDA) works closely with their school principal(s) and staff to establish mutually beneficial partnerships with community-based organizations, municipalities, local businesses, families, and community members. These partnerships result in support to community and school improvement through enhanced access to recreational, educational, social, and cultural opportunities for youth, families, and the English-speaking community at large.
