Don’t let the Ball Touch the Ground!
(September 2nd) The whole school played together outside. Big beach balls were thrown around with the objective to never let them touch the ground. We also danced, and ate popsicles. What a great way to start the school year!
Terry Fox Walk
(September 16) We held our annual Terry Fox Walk. The day started in the gym with a short student skit on the life of Terry Fox. The then watched a video on his legacy and his battle with bone cancer. The walk went great, as the older kids accompanying and paring up with the younger ones.
(September 26th) The entire school went apple picking at Verger Labonté. We were welcomed with a healthy, fresh apple muffin and a glass of apple cider. Each grade then enjoyed a wagon ride into the orchard. Every student was able to pick a full bag of apples to bring home! It was a day full of fun, excitement and school spirit.
Community 5 à 7
(September 29th) Gault hosted the first community night of the school year bringing in close to 300 people! Members of the community enjoyed a free spaghetti supper, door prizes and many activities and games for the whole family. It was a great success!
